his dad just died and i know there are parts about me that are the exact replica of him and grandpa.
him and gramp had a falling out cause of the jw religion.. anyways, i had the funny feeling that my dad has been looking at things differently lately, but, i know he won't say much cause he's in way too deep at this point.. he came up to me the other night, and said he really loved me.

I guess that would depend on if this was simply a temporary emotional reaction due to his Dad's death, where he momentarily let down the JW guard out of his grief.
Do you think there'd be any real benefit for him to wake up, i.e. would he face loss of other family members, if he were DF'ed?

Meh. Three years ago, Judge Carter attempted (and it was a valiant attempt; as helpful as I've ever seen) to school and then assist Taitz in proper service of the President of the United States. As now, the situation then was similar if not entirely parallel. Taitz asked for a default then (on improper service), just as she asks for one now. Although Taitz appears to have forgotten about that (Judge Carter eventually assisted Taitz in effecting proper service via the cooperation of the local US Attorney's office), I suspect Judge Carter has not.
Orly Taitz is a #*$@ up. Nothing is different today than it was in 2009...although I suspect that this time Judge Carter's referral to the California Bar Association might be just a wee bit more stringent than it was 3 years ago, and will probably include, along with the Judd case, a reference to her recent, failed 60B motion to reopen the Barnett|Keyes v. Obama long-dead case (which Carter dismissed with little fanfare).
Ultimately, it will be the judges Taitz has abused who will be her undoing, and I think it won't be that much longer. Not "any-day-now," but not another two years, either. I believe she will be disbarred by SCOTUS within a year (and it's unusual for SCOTUS disbarment to precede state disbarment), and by the CA Bar within 18 months. Don't have any specific reason to believe that, by the way...it's just what I think will happen.

Holy crap, I thought they cleared out the court backlog of idiot Birthers who tried to sue him for supposedly committing fraud by lying about his eligibility for POTUS.... There's not enough rolleyes for that, with nut-jobs who waste taxpayer resources for malicious prosecution and abuse of the legal system...

That's such a simple, beautiful thing that everyone on here wants for/with their loved ones: a moment of clarity, a lucid interval from the brain-washing just to know that we know that they know, and that it's not worth sacrificing one's family members for anything, much less for a sweet, seductive lie.

Yeah, there's no need for relying on basic logic with any of this to draw basic conclusions, since many field studies of actual animal behavior HAVE been conducted. Well, EOM, get back to God and ask him about a few of the questions that were raised here, and see if He can't work some of the bugs out in the bugs.

You mentioned pride and self-righteousness: child psychologists will tell you the most narcissist humans are actually infants, simply because they lack a basic awareness of self vs others. In other words, they are adapted for survival by letting Mom know when THEY are hungry, etc without a second thought of anything else. It's not even a matter of "pride", but instinct.
